I do that with judos and lighted nocks, find a back road with random cans or bottles and wonder around at different ranges, good times! Trashy version of stump shooting 😂

The other bonus of shooting long range, you get a lot of practice finding arrows😂

Personally, I wouldn't call using a range finder any part of the traditional archery game. To each their own.

What is he supposed to do use a tape measure?
@beanboggs4190 Жыл бұрын
@@Fossil_ traditionally, you'd learn to guesstimate the distance by eye and eyeball only. It's actually really fun to train your eyes for yardage. Fred Bear surely did not use a range finder and or a tape measure.

@@beanboggs4190 I promise you Fred Bear would’ve used whatever tools available to help him be a better archer and hunter. Unlike people of today’s archery world who are more worried about being “Trad” he was out actually doing what he loved to do. Hilarious how people feel a need to define things and force others to conform to their preconceptions definition of what something is. I’m sure if you were alive back when Fred Bear was hunting you’d have been critical of him using fiberglass bows and not sticking strictly to a self bow like the real trad archers are supposed to use.

@@chadcousins2563 to each there own. If it's got batteries, it ain't something Fred Bear used. I'm not saying he wouldn't have moved forward with technology, his company sure did.... to each their own, have a great Sunday!

I’d recommend going to your local archery store, they are usually very friendly and will help you get what you need😊

Sadly amazon is probably the best place to get decent recurves without breaking the bank
