What are the advantages of spring hunts over fall hunts and vice versa?

Awesome video! I've followed the channel for the last year and it's perked my interest in traditional bow hunting. Was wondering what kind of arrow shafts do you typically use? Do any manufacturers stand out above the rest?

Ryan Hills right on, Ryan. There are many great arrow companies that make carbon arrows for traditional bows. Many trad archers use carbon arrows, while some want to go even more trad and shoot wooden shaft arrows. Most everyone I know shoots carbon. Check out the Goldtip Traditional shafts. Also there is a new arrow company called Day Six Gear that makes a really good trad arrow.

nice shot. most people don't know that the success rate for bear hinting in all of Ontario is only about 30% . For archers is less.I have got to believe it is similar in Quebec. It is challenging to fill a bear tag.
@NorthRiverGuide
@NorthRiverGuide 5 жыл бұрын
How do they come up with those figures? I have a hunch they take all license sales and then calculate how many bears reported shot. Which doesnt give a fair figure on success rates. Some buy a tag to go for one sit and give up after fidgeting for a half hr. While some who put in time fill all their tags.

Where is the best place to bear hunt in Canada?
@bearhuntingmagazine

the best place? in the woods! I am no expert but I have had good luck in Ontario near Wawa. and my dad and his friends did well in Quebec. Some years there are massive blueberry crops in the wawa area timber areas. It make the bears a little harder to get , but it also make then bigger than average. The meat was great too. with a good outfitter , I think almost any of the provinces can be good. check the bear hunting magazine classifieds, or call these guys form this video. their camp looks like a great location.

I CARE DEEPLY FOR YOU AND ALL ANIMALS. People who wound animals, and people who make it likely that wounded animals will suffer long term (hunting with bows, particularly of large animals, and all hunting) should try experiencing a wound like that, without medical attention, themselves. I do not wish this on anyone, but, are you man enough to experience what you are making likely for others? You would quickly stop that! (Unless you are psychopathic). PLUS DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BIOLOGY? I BET YOU THINK YOU HAVE THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS THAT ARE MADE FOR CARNIVORES.... YOU VERY CLEARLY DON'T AND ANYONE WHO ARGUES THAT HAS ONLY THE LAME ARGUMENTS OF SOMEONE DENYING TRUTH. YOU WANT GOOD HEALTH??? PLEASE RESEARCH THIS. THANK YOU. I'M SORRY IF I CAME OFF ANTAGONISTIC AT THE BEGINNING. Not only do I love nature and animals, but I HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY WOUNDED, FOUND MY WAY TO FULL RECOVERY, AND OPTIONAL EXCELLENT HEALTH, APPARENTLY VERY LONG TERM (RESEARCH IS SHOWING VAST LIFESPAN EXPANSION IS HIGHLY LIKELY AND MODERATE IS DEFINITE!) I'LL MOST LIKELY BE MAKING THE INFO PUBLIC AS SOON AS I CAN DO SO WITHOUT ASKING FOR MONEY SO THAT ALL CAN BENEFIT FROM IT. But you can start with juicing, try the juice from, "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" eat a couple mid sized meals or one meal daily... Millions of years ago we lost the ability, and are now one of three (3?) animals on earth without the ability, to make our own vitamin C IN what we and the FDA would consider HUGE QUANTITIES. USE LIPOSOMAL VITAMIN C (only one that will absorb in large quantities) and work up to a minimum of fifty thousand milligrams per day (most of you will think this is crazy, look up the quantities that other species make internally, it'll LIKELY give it per kilogram of body weight. Add AT VERY LEAST A GOOD QUALITY MULTI VITAMIN, ACTUALLY A COUPLE... You will start healing quickly and live longer, but, once you feel like superman from these changes. LET ME KNOW, THERE IS MUCH MORE I CAN TELL YOU FOR FREE. PS - you'll notice your pee is bright yellow, with normal vitamin c you would get NEON yellow. This is not neon because your body had processed the C. IT IS BEING USED BY YOUR BODY! ALSO PLEASE CONSULT A PHYSICIAN BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS (This statement is for the purpose of preventing my liability, in other words. DO NOT DO any of the above, unless a medical doctor tells you to. (There... You know, some things I just plain hate to say, but for various reasons I have to. Like, because there are evil, greedy people out there. By the way, legally, my assets are under one hundred US dollars. I've never, ever, seen a stone bleed, have you?) ALSO, I WAS EDITING THIS AND HAVE TO STOP NOW, SOME OF IT IS OUT OF ORDER BUT IT'S STILL CLEARLY UNDERSTANDABLE. I'M A MUCH BETTER WRITER THAN THIS THOUGH. WOW, I MUST BE INSECURE ABOUT SOMETHING TO FEEL A NEED TO EXPLAIN THAT.... SOMETHING LINKED TO MY WORRYING ABILITY, OR IT ITSELF.... FREUD WOULD PROBABLY SAY MY PEN IS TOO SMALL.... HAHAHA. GET IT?
