How do you decide how wide to go with your butterflies? I've seen them quite wide on some of your videos, and some more narrow

Can you buy butterflies with a cash account? And do you offer mentorship? I’ve been watching your videos lately. Thank you

You have to have a margin account to trade any type of options. As for your other question I would just check out her website

Hi! You should be able to as it's a debit, but I would check with your broker. You can find me in the Simpler Central trading room 3x per week! Here is the link: www.simplertrading.com/simpler-central-trial-ds

I have never been allowed to trade spreads in anything but a margin account...so only 3 day trades unless you have over $25000 in account. But I have a separate account for spreads (robinhood). It's only around a 25 cent fee to open and close butterflies round-trip. Use a separate account to day trade options in a cash account to avoid the day trade rule. Options settle next day so you will have fresh buying power next day.

Different brokers may have different rules, but typically a cash account gives access to Level 2 options, which doesn’t allow you to sell contracts other than Covered Calls and Cash Secured Puts, so you won’t be able to open a Butterfly strategy
