I’ve been a diehard fan since ‘97, & have so many cherished memories at the kingdome/safeco. This season Completely demoralized me and I’m done being disillusioned…nothing will change, time has come to put pressure & boycott.. Not until this sorry excuse for a franchise is reformed top to bottom, & ownership is transferred to a serious buyer who wants to see the Ms get a pennant. The corrupt incompetency will continue to be business as usual..its to glaring to just shift a couple pieces, and expect 25 years of ineptitude to suddenly vanish. Choking a 10 game lead, going 9-20 since late June, everyone screaming for change, and receiving a middle finger from the organization. The culture is completely broken. If this was Boston or Philadelphia there’s no question the torch’s and pitchforks would be out, demanding answers.

What’s the worst team batting average for a year. .216 has go to be close right?

We're currently the 3rd worst batting average in a 100 years (apparently people sucked in the late 1800/early 1900s). 15th worst overall.

My thoughts are simple. We don’t need any pitching prospects. We can deal literally everybody in our farm system if need be. Let’s buy a new RF, 3B, 1B and probably get a refreshed bench

I'd be shocked if they weren't ready to move prospects for a big overhaul right now, even given it's the Mariners. They only need consider targets who they can keep for 2025 minimum though. At a minimum you're building next season's uograded roster right now while giving 2024 at least a fair shot.

i remember seattle lineups that would score 11-20 per game well over a dozen times in a given season. the most viable solution right now is not for us to sacrifice our own key players for a so-so guy on the trade block. the key to revamping this lineup is to add more high-performance org depth. age doesn't matter. what matters is guys, preferably with options, who have destroyed AAA pitching for at least the past couple months straight. guys are out there doing this but who are blocked by star players in their org. guys like ryan ward in the dodgers organization. between a few bullpen arms, hancock, and a few of our own depth pieces who are blocked in our org, and not to mention cash considerations, we can bring in a few top level depth pieces on the cheap and put a healthy squeeze on our lineup to either start hitting or ride some pine and be replaced by someone else who has earned the opportunity and who projects well.
