It sounds like you’re chasing Metcalf’s numbers from 2020/21 while ignoring the obvious downside this year, same with Pickens

Pickens also was solid this year, 900 yards in 12 games as opposed to his 1100 yards in 16 games the year prior. I'd betting in proven talent over a weak draft classes 1.08

I think it’s a value argument more than a production argument, since it’s currently january. If bucky is your rb2 and you plan on starting him weekly then ya thats probably a good move. If you’re a little more liquid with talent then it’s conceivable that tet/omar/kaleb will have higher value once we have landing spots. High draft capital rookies likely have more insulated value than day 3 bucky unfortunately.

Bad take after bad take. These guys are great counter signals, I'd love to be on the other side of these deals they suggest. If you have 1.01 or 1.02, you're probably rebuilding. DONT trade away a stud rookie or sophomore QB like Stroud and Nix for jeanty or whoever at 1.02. Kaleb Johnson and Omarion Hampton are already better than Bucky Irving according to these guys. Johnson and Hampton haven't played a down in the NFL and Bucky just put up numbers that only Gibbs and Kamara matched as rookies (5+ ypc, 45 recs) Gimme bucky all day.

I'm on board with the Bucky fade. He balled out this year but if you have him you likely drafted him. And if you drafted him in the 3rd or 4th round of your last years draft locking in that extra value insulation with a first or a top 15-20 WR would be a no brainer for me. I don't want to be the guy that compares Bucky to Dameon Pierce but...look what happened there? Similar draft capital (both 4th round RBs) with similar situations in their first years. What if Bucky just regresses a ton next year and his value never recovers to that mid-late first or even mid second round value? What if the Bucs draft ANOTHER RB in this awesome class and send White and Tucker packing? Take the value win if you drafted Bucky, especially if you aren't super competitive right now. Another example would be CJ Stroud and Jordan Love. At this time last year both guys were being heralded as can't miss long-term top 10 QBs. And neither one provides any sort of rushing upside. How'd that work out? You could have trade Love for the 1.03 + a quality RB or WR last year and drafted Daniels. Buy low sell high. Tale as old as time.

Draft capital is nearly identical and both guys weren't expected to contribute at all in their first year and overachieved on teams that have a lot of personal decisions to be made in the year to follow. Entirely team dependent but if you can sell an RB for 3-4x what you invested to get him in dynasty that's always a good move. Always.

Bucky is a superstar, his contact balance is quite literally unmatched in the NFL. He's literally Gibbs but slightly slower. You guys are crazy for pivoting off him and you'll vastly regret it. I am still kicking myself in the teeth. I was on the clock for 4 hours going back and fourth. It was the 1.11 and I had 2 names Brian Thomas and Jonathan Brooks. I had Jefferson , Hill and Garrett Wilson but I also had Lawrence as my qb2 so I was leaning Thomas even though Brooks fell 4 spots. I went to my buddy for advice and he talked me out of it and I took brooks. My team starting line up is absolutely stacked but no depth and no picks except for - 4th this year. Expensive league with a lot of old players. I took over this team as an orphan last year and honestly don’t even know if I want to keep it, especially after this horrible mistake.

I have Nabers and the 1.01, I wouldn’t move Nabers for Jeanty. I love Jeanty but Nabers is an insane player, so unless you’re one RB away from contending and you have a surplus of top tier WR, then I wouldn’t make that move.

I traded laporta for the 1.06 and Jake Ferguson
