Stochastics. Do show reversals. They show an overextension. I have bots that rely on reversals based on stochastics . Stochastic measure relationship of price to the high and low. Ask yourself does price spend more time at its peak or getting to the peak. Once at peak it eather reverse or goes higher. Therefore it is most likely to reverse at this point than any other point. In detail that is why you are wrong.

I prefer RSI with demarcated levels 80, 60, 50, 40, 20 .. it shows a uptrend, range and downtrend market.
