I use the Trade Window set up for Scaling In/Out, and the way i have that set up is there is only one set of Order lines on the Chart... one Stop Order Line, and one Take Profit order line. As i Add to my position it just Adds the Total amount of Contracts onto the Order lines, and when/if i decide to Close Everything all i have to do is click Flatten. but if i want to start Scaling out i just start clicking either the Buy market,or Sell Market button to Exit 1 Contract at Desired Levels if i am staying with the Intraday Trend... it depends what i see developing on the Charts of what way i would choose to do. I am also looking into setting up Keyboard Commands with this platform... just to see how i may like this type order entry. Thanks for the Videos on Sierra Chart.

i have som chartbooks that does not work because i updated my sierra chart how do i convert my chartbooks so that they can work?

buy stop you use it as stop loss when you short? sell stop you use it as stop loss when you go long? and limit buy is used as take profit when shorting and limit sell is used as take profit when you go long? if i click buy mkt and then click sell mkt will i go in and out from a position is it the same as clicking buy mkt and then click flatten. also if i want to shut down my pc and go away should i click flatten and then click cancel all to cancel or my working orders ?

Hey Minerva, our chartbook (as seen in this clip) is available for download for all TPA PRO & ELITE traders. In addition to this, we have a complete Sierra Chart Tutorial on how to build our whole chartbook from scratch! To change the colors of the DOM, you will have to go into the graphic settings and play around with some of the settings in the colors and widths tab until you find what you like! Cheers - Mark

Yes sir you can, it's a great platform that connects to your broker and routes orders back and forth - you can trade on a DOM (Level 2) interface or right off the chart. Hope this helps. - G

Why do you guys who produce tutorials always assume we have some advanced familiarity of the subjects you're presenting?
