Al Brooks is my "no question asked" favorite. Actually, I wrote an Al Brooks inspired price action algorithm on the top of my own trend follower algo and it WORKS 🙂

I also think I spent more time in screen time than 50 % traders in planet. Result is very satisfying. I can creatively visualise the high probability trades and position size my risk. I started to get into this in 2008. Its takes lots of time to build confidence in trading. V honest words of wiseman ! Loved it

Brilliant content. Im 8 months in, paper trading the last 3 months and actually done well, up 35%. But the silly things are what I am working on as was mentioned. Will absolutely be a profitable trader. I already use clear charts and trade price action. Learning that method was game changing

One thing trading educators should be upfront with is their audited trading broker statements. Having now been a profitable trader for quite a while, I would suggest that all traders should steer clear of any trader/educator unless they provide evidence they can actually trade their strategy and be consistently profitable. I could not find anything online where Al Brooks has proven he can trade his own strategy and be consistently profitable.

It has been 2 years today since I started Al Brooks’ Price action journey. It has been a lot of fun reading and a hell lot of intellectually stimulating in ways of explaining happenings of markets. It has been a lot of practice since then and just knowing what’s written is just 20% of the journey and the remaining 80% is the Forrest Gump attitude. Some really good questions asked. Clarified my doubts and affirmed my understanding. How can I become part of the community to connect fellow traders and could be able to contribute asking questions which I have? Thanks of having such interviews. Cheers 👍🏼

Over complicated trading, I'm paper trading I use the camerilla pivits system which is a leading indicator predicted from the day before, it gives me my where to look for a trade, then I look for my when and how(volume an t/s level 2 order book..... add supply and demand levels if you want and have more conviction.... learnt it from a moderator at bear bull traders he got a book coming out soon gonna be gold

Al’s risk of ruin comment was wrong, or at least incomplete. You can trade significantly larger than 2% if your R/R and accuracy support it. Kelly Criteria and Fractional F give the real numbers.

I think channels aren’t brought up enough. Breaks channel get out at that line. Once it breaks it’ll always go past it afterwards. Also 50% pullbacks are an everyday occurrence. Say open goes up then reverses down same amount then turns up. That’ll probably be twice the size of move making a 0-100% move from bottom to top. Expect a pullback to the 50% level or close to top of opening range. This is because of averaging or scaling in by huge traders and algorithms. If account is big enough and it’s not a trend day you can’t loose scaling in. Bots get eaten alive on trend days which is why they’re not super profitable like they are daily. Monthly returns are killed by the 3-4 trend days a month. But keep eye on previous levels and 50% moves. It unreal how it’ll just make a wick to that level and pull right off never touching it again. One chance to max out so get off trade quickly and front run it a few points.
