When option expires worthless is there a fee

There should not be a commission (using Charles Schwab's Think or Swim). Even if there's assignment against you (when you're short) I don't think there's a fee either (except for the very tiny one charged by the exchanges). If I am not mistaken there's also not a fee even when you actively exercise an option that is in the money.
