Good to have you back, coach. Can you explain why whenever the market closes my long call verticals lose a LOT of value, but when the market reopens the value is back to normal, all things being considered? I mean there can be hundreds of dollars difference between the day I'm in the option, the close, and the reopen the next day. Sometimes freaks me out!

Hmmm. I'm not sure. However, sometimes bid/ask spreads on options get really wide in the after hours and this might 'mess' with the stated value of the spread. When the market re-opens, the bid/ask spreads pull back into 'alignment' or their 'normal' spread and all is well again. You might want to check and see if that might be the root of the problem. ^Barb

hi, for your NKE trade - the oscillators show that it is about to go into an uptrend. what am i not seeing that you are that you say it's going to go down more.

We placed an example Short Call Vertical trade on NKE in this class, then both the market & this stock rebounded for the next 2 trading days. The question. Is this a trend reversal or is it potentially setting up a bear flag pattern? Today is the 3rd day & the stock is currently pulling back & potentially looking like a bear flag with a bearish trend continuation pattern. We will review this trade in the Jan 24 Trading a Smaller Account webcast on Friday. ^Barb

@@tradertalkswebcasts Although I have responded it was probably too long to be sent or received. So the abbreviated model is this: Strange that you mentioned Arnold since I know him personally or did. I was in L.A. and semi living at Joe Gold's Gym better known as "Gold's Gym" and was working out with Arnold, Franco, Frank, Dave, Sergio, the first Mr. Olympia Larry Scott. I should be grateful that I've never had any potential for being a bodybuilder which is probably why I am still here and most of them no longer are. I know options fairly well and I will start coming back to your class now. Thank you as you are one of my heroes. P.S. One thing that will impress your bodybuilders did you know that Arnold's biceps do not look alike as one has a peek and the other doesn't!
