This happened to me in 2014. My life has changed so radically, since then, that I still fail to understand. Magic exists. Believe… with your heart. It becomes a natural reflex… like blinking. That’s not to say you will not suffer; the difference is, it makes the suffering meaningful. Love to all.

March 1984. I was 19 and I experienced Cosmic Consciousness: that everything is One, that everything is made up of the same energy but it can manifest in literally billions of [apparently] different forms. I felt at the core of this energy was pure absolute love. I feel very blessed to have had this experience and it has helped me a happy and giving person - after all: We Are All One!

Watts said something to the effect that: …if you don’t chase ‘It’ (the universe), It won’t elude you. Because, ‘It’ is you-‘tat tvam asi’ (that is you)-manifesting the universe in the place you call here and now. It’s like a dog chasing its tail. This explains, why God is as much a mystery to me as I am to myself. Understanding both as One, is in the void.

I felt like this all the time in early childhood, they called it autism. It got supressed and I forgot. Yet I felt a deep nostalgia for some time or place long long ago. During the virus idiocy, I broke, I was fully teared apart , falling on my knees in the mud crying my guts out, screaming. In the middle of a thunderstorm. It was at that exact moment, I experienced what this man described, and afterwards the memories came back, from my childhood.

Alan Watts discusses the nature of reality and the illusion of the self. He begins by talking about how we perceive the world through our senses, and how this perception is limited by our physical bodies. He then goes on to say that the self is also an illusion, and that we are all part of a larger whole. Watts uses a number of analogies to illustrate his points. For example, he compares the self to a wave on the ocean, and the universe to the ocean itself. He also talks about how we are all connected to each other, and how we are all part of the same process of evolution. Watts's message is that we should not take ourselves too seriously, and that we should enjoy the ride. He says that we are all just actors in a play, and that the only thing that matters is how we play our part. I found Watts's video to be very thought-provoking. I agree with his point that the self is an illusion, and that we are all part of something larger than ourselves. I also think that it is important to enjoy the ride, and to not take life too seriously. Here are some of the key points from the video: The self is an illusion. We are all part of a larger whole. We should not take ourselves too seriously. We should enjoy the ride. I think these are all important points to consider, and I would encourage everyone to watch the video and think about what Watts has to say.

@tomrhodes1629 Жыл бұрын
I agree with warrior that the Advaita Vedanta school of thought is superior. Truth is found scattered amongst all of the religions and wisdom traditions, but Advaita Vedanta condenses it all in one place. As does the Hermetic wisdom tradition, which is the foundation stone of all the world's religions, when traced back far enough. ("The Kybalion" is recommended.) Truth is Truth and is absolute and changeless. And when Christianity is truly understood (as taught by Christ, not men) it is the same as Advaita Vedanta and the Hermetic tradition at the core, with an added "cherry" on top: the capstone of the Great Pyramid of Life; the Perfect Example which is a "sacrifice" only in terms of MAKING SACRED; not relinquishing anything of value - the relinquishment of that which HAS NO value and obscures the true Treasure. "Spirit is life, the flesh counts for nothing." - JC (John 6:63) ("A Course in Miracles" is recommended.) Elijah has returned, as prophesied, and testifies. And yes, Paramahansa Yogananda had it all together. Get his two volume set: "The Second Coming of Christ."

And even then you may not fully comprehend it. You have to make it your own, you have to own it and feel it and experience it, then perhaps you can comment on it. Bless always.

November 16, 2020. When a moment of immense grief out in the woods turned into a miraculously improbable encounter with what I can only call God or the Infinite at this point. Whatever it is, it's nothing like what the religions describe. It's not this vindictive, judging external entity. It's Everything, happening in every moment. That's the only way I know how to put it into words without applying my own idea of its nature to it. But whatever the truth of it may be, I wish this type of encounter for everyone. It changes everything, while persisting as it ever did. Life is beautiful, and I want nothing less than that for you, dear reader. 💕

That fourth minute: Pseudo mysticism as the notion that the belief that everything is one harmonious being will lead to the feeling that it is so. But it doesn't. And I've told so many people that the way to end a mystical experience is to try to tell someone about it; but he's right; it is fundamental to our nature to do so. Because there is so much on the line - everything really. This one is perfect - so very dense with value.

The moment I realized that it's not normal to observe yourself, I snapped back into my own 1st person perspective. I've thought about this a lot. Maybe it was just a dream, but maybe it was more. It's a gift that this life ends. I for one am looking forward to moving on.

Not for me. You heard what Alan said, if you must say it is beautiful than it is a lie.

Why, Why, Why the need to put music to this man’s brilliant mind. His mind is music !

Yes, people don't understand that they are creating a discordant vibe with music. No music or very low is best

I did wake up in 1997, I was 31 year. I died for over 2 minutes and it's the best thing ever happened to me. Before I was all about Money and job, big Tv and so on. After I did feel alone in the world, because I was changed. I now was hating money and most people....Sorry good people.. It was about nature and animals. I do wish you all the best.

Would people agree in the comments, that if you are not conscious of this feeling that you are stuck in the illusion of your own importance, identity and search for meaning?

The music detracted from the message. It was not necessary to have the backing music that was a distraction.

Things were percolating already, but a foster dogo girl showed up in my world 4 months ago.... Somehow being by her side moment by moment helped bring about a shift. My entire universe exploded... and then peacefully settled into an increasing number of beautiful moments regardless of what's happening. There's no way to think your way to this place or to strive or make effort to get there. Beyond words. 🐶🪷😎

Mystic.. the trap and stopping point of the vainglorious and power seekers. Once you attain it, if you cannot let it go? You will never find what is really the end goal.
@OnlyThisMoment Жыл бұрын
One must use methods to get to “the end goal”. All methods are traps but the method is still essential, however, it is key to not get caught in the method as I previously stated, all methods are traps. It seems you understand, but your message is too simple, it will seem complicated to those that do not already understand. If you wish to help others see, you may want to consider making what you say a bit more complicated so it seems simpler to them, if that makes sense to you 🙏
