20:18 hello Mr Scarface sir, I'm wondering about the stop loss here. You say the stop is only activated when there is a body close below the stop level, so what if the candle tanks much lower in a rapid fashion, and closes say half a percent lower? Doesn't that alter your risk/reward petametres, or is there some kind of fail safe action to be taken in such a scenario? Thanks.

Make sure you use regular candles also because HA candles are calculated differently and some candles will have data that the regular candles doesn’t have. It will mess you up! I learned the hard way… use ‘both’ candles.

So you dont use actual hard stops, because you stated the body must close below your stop when a wick came down to it I always trade with a hard stop (use bracket order for entry stop loss and depending on situation limit stop at profit target)bc theres no way I can hit the sell button faster than price is moving if there is an explosive move to the downside , which means Ive gotten stopped out when a wick hits my stop area >:/ Im having really hard time with this, in a losing streak over last week or two lost money today on QQQ, biggest loss to date, but Ill give the HA on higher tf a try. I do switch them on from time to time for a 2min chart

Yeah I was confused about that as well, it did wick him out unless he didn’t set the stoploss but if someone just waits for the body to close for them to get stopped out or close the trade then that’s risky cause it could do an explosive move against you & instead of you getting out at your stoploss , that person probably would lose wayyyy more on that trade

@@brianstewart6850 N O P E He is clearly using "mental stops" which is beyond dangerous for beginners... heck for any trader (Wesley over at LiveTraders has done countless segments abt ppl losing their butt bc of mental stops; Patrick Wieland uses hard stops too)- Scarface can afford to take a loss if his "wick" turns out to be an explosive bar to the downside(long)or upside(short) and then hit the sell button (at a larger loss than anticipated) but as I stated on this vid and another most traders cant afford that. Those who see this, if youre trading without a hard stop You ARE gambling - period end of story. You might as well go to the track or casino. Again SF, and many others who have large accounts can afford to trade this way you cannot DO NOT do what they do as far as the actual trade.

My understanding was HA, 1hr TF to see the trend. 1min TF, reg candles to enter trade and 10 min TF, HA to stay in the trade longer (based on this example). Hope that helps.

Why would it be a bad idea to enter the trade on, say, a 5 min HA chart? You'd see the trend changing on the higher timeframe HA and could use that to enter on the lower timeframe HA no?

Have you ever used margin account borrowing? What’s your thoughts on that when you’re trying to grow your portfolio? Of course, not using it until strategy is perfected but after a lot of practice .

I wouldn’t touch margin until you are a SEASONED profitable trader. Even then, you can build your account pretty fast once you understand the nuances of your strategy. I used margin in the beginning of my career (mistake) so I would recommend to stay away until you’re seasoned enough to answer the question yourself!
