speaking of not having unlimited time, the auction houses need to be brought into 21st century and end these dumb extended bidding windows of 15 min intervals that last until 3am in the morning. There's a 3-4 week marketing window for people to places bids, set a time and date for end of auction and have it go to highest bidder. maybe with one single 30 min extended bidding window, but it's nuts!

It’s a tough balancing act to make all the consignors and bidders happy. If you don’t want to stay up late you can always leave a ceiling bid
