You can be as conservative or as insanely risky as you want, and everything in between. Since there are a ton of different strategies and ways to use them, options can be a bit confusing when you’re first getting started.

So, what does this mean when under the Call section on ask column I see 4.90x26, bid 4.65x26 and strike 99.80? BC my understanding from your video tells me 1 contract is a 100 shares but it doesn’t seem to me this is 100 shares right?

You can set it up in the price ladder Another way is there is a widget you can set it up with profit at 30 percent and stop loss at say 10 percent...

If you buy a call, can you sell before expiration? Does it automatically sell on the expiration or do you have to sell it?

Yes. Traders who sell the same day they buy are called day traders. If you hold you're a swing trader. The goal is to buy & profit right away. The only way it sells for you is if your automatic stop loss triggers. You buy a 1.00 call contract & you set .90 stop loss. If the price rolls back to .90 it will automatically sell the option contract for you. This is good in case you get busy. It helps to avoid losing your entire $100 premium

Can someone tell me why you would buy a contract for $100 and make only say $30 from it. It is just stupid. Isn't it? I'm Just trying to understand if that is what he pretty much said.

Making 30 from 100 investment is real good risk to reward. Then you build with bigger delta.$150 premium for a 45 delta. That's $90 reward for 150 investment if it moves 2 dollars. Always Look at delta.
