Ok i have a question. So if the stock price is lets say $100. How does it work if im buying a call option that is lower than the stock price. Since call options are predicting an increase how can you have a call option at a lower price than the current stock value?

You can just "sell to close" from your position and sell like a regular trade limit/market order. You can also paper trade options.

You seem to know what you are talking about and I appreciate it alot. Here's the problem I continue to see as I try to learn to navigate webulls option chart. It's different than ones I've used. The chart is very small which is what I'm trying to follow you on but you are very big and I actually only need to hear your voice to follow your instructions as you navigate the chart. Please take this into consideration and maybe repost or use as a point of reference for future vids. Go back and watch You take up over 3/4s of the page. It should be the reverse so that novices can better follow you. It's not just you, but all the tutorials I have seen so far have the same issue. I understood it alot brtter the way you explain things. Please don't get upset. I'm just getting up there in age and I don't see as well as I used to. Keep up the good work. 👌

My question is, if I buy an option contract for 100 shares do I have to pay the full price of each share when it hits the strike price in addition to they fee you pay for the contract? Like it Apple is at 130/share and it hits a strike price of 140 so I have to pay for all those shares? That would be like 140,000 dollars lol

I'm still looking for one too, but I don't think they exist bc of SEC rules. Only unless you can deposit $25k into your margin acct, that you are able to do unlimited trades like in a Cash acct. Finally Webull has updated their platform to include OPTIONS PAPER TRADE so if he can do that Tutorial would be awesome for beginners!

Hey Chris, that’ll all really depend on your risk. For me its different for each trade - depending on how much % i have at stake. What’s the max loss i am willing to accept? and i cut losses at that point. Maybe its 10% maybe its 20%. It will also depend greatly on if you are buying or selling the options. Hope that helps!

I’m not sure if you figured this out on your journey but essentially, you are buying that contract in hopes that the underlying stock price will continue to rise in value. This will contribute to an exponential increase in value of the option to buy shares at $170. For example a lot more people would want to buy contracts for the right to buy AAPL at $170 per share today as AAPL is now trading at $200 a share plus
