Oh John...I loved this. I've been there because we almost always stopped at the nice Rest Area closeby going to and from KC. We never had an opportunity to tour the museum. We did look into the windows of the cabins, and walked through the cemetery. One day we went to the site of the battleground to the East of there. I have amazing photos( somewhere...lol) of that. It's beautiful out there. So nice of Allison to do all she did. Thank you for sharing your adventures!!

Boy howdy, I've driven past Trading Post lots of times but I sure never saw any of the buildings and museum before. A couple, who were neighbors next to us had an antique store for awhile in Trading Post but I guess it didn't do much business as they didn't have it for long. They moved to Drexel, Mo several years ago. Awhile back I heard that he had died. Thank you for this video it was interesting to see the buildings and inside the museum. I understand and there were parts that weren’t great on the sound because I messed up while recording. I tried to tweak it in editing but wasn’t able to make it as good as I wanted. Also, I think it depends on how you are watching/listening. I notice if you watch on a tv often the sound is much different than on a phone with earphones.
