I'm not "rich" (halfway to 6 figures) but I'm stable and well diversified and live within my means. Diversity is key. You want a mix of risk-on and risk-off assets. The ratio and nature of each type is up to you and depends on your goals, but in my own case, I have: Physical cash, digital cash, crypto, GICs, treasuries, physical metal, sealed trading cards, art (local vintage pottery), a profit-sharing plan at work, a stock program at work, and self-directed forex and equities. My work is consumer defensive, and my deferred profit sharing program is weighted towards emerging and international markets. I have a small basket of currencies on my forex, and physical PMs as a hedge, etc etc. I try to do a quarterly rebalance/audit as well. It's funny, Robb said people with lots of money waste it, and I'm the opposite: I don't have a lot of income to save, but I put it towards (what I hope is) high quality stuff. As it turns out, earning 4% on a bond and losing 2% to inflation is better than taking bad trades and just losing 20%. Who knew?

I just wanted to say thank you to you both, I stumbled across your Podcast a couple of months ago on Spotify and have listened to everyone of them. I find your approach very genuine and helpful, there is a lot of smoke and mirrors in this game so its great to listen to a couple of guys that say it us it is. Keep the content coming it is invaluable.

as always a great episode. I've always thought of money and finances as a game also. I think anytime you can create that link, it makes it more enjoyable.

hi vp, could you make an update on your favourite fiat currencies to hold right now? is it simply the us dollar? or is it more nuanced than that?

hi vp, could you make a video addressing the recent binance and coinbase lawsuits and the list of crypto coins/tokens that were labeled as securites, including yours truly cardano (ada) and the most beaten of them all algorand (algo)? are you scared that bnb will suffer the fate of ftt and binance will go down? are you worried about your ada bags? should i be worried about my algo bags? would love your feedback, i start to feel a little heat and stress here tbh.

I know you've been trading gold and silver for a long time, but you usually trade them independently of eachother, yes? Have you ever tried to trade the gold/silver ratio as a pairs trade?

I always had less success with it on backtesting, so I left it out.

@@NoNonsenseForex That makes sense, since it's a hedged/arb trade strategy, so it probably doesn't align perfectly with the way you trade trends. Thanks!
