Emotion does not feature in price development or price behaviour which is driven by relationships that develop between supply and demand. The efficient trader can read the market and interpret which force is the greater and hence the overall direction. The efficient trader therefore does not include emotion in his calculations nor in his decision making. The efficient trader strips out emotional impulses by attaining a supercooled mental state devoid of all emotion as emotion is very detrimental to reasoning and if stimulated succeeds in obliterating not only reason but the ability to act in accordance with that reasoning. Then these discussions about "psychology" are pointless and frankly, silly.

You were nailing it until the last sentence. All of those things are true, but irrelevant if you can't follow any of it. And this is what most traders cannot do unfortunately. Therefore this material is absolutely essential especially because it doesn't exist in digestible form anywhere else.

Hello Rob and Patrick. Patrick I start listening to you on Spotify. I did some trades for a long time again. But I have no idea about trading psychology. Thank you guys I started trading again.

this indicator is too good I did a test on this on a 1 min chart, I remember the video you made about repainting indicators this one might be one them, tested it on 1 min chart it gave me a signal to go long and dis apperead when the next candle stick was going short, I remember you saying indicator should not change from the pass result but this one did

Thanks for this! About the rate cutting cycle, how do we expect the new import tariffs (and other potentially inflation driving measures) to impact, will this not force to change the FEDs policy? I mean, great place to get some yield for now as it all unfolds, but are things not about to get really shaken up? Thoughts? Thanks!

A good platform will automatically earn daily interest on unallocated cash, though I usually just end up buying short-dated bonds where I can so I get some yield while staying liquid. One way I view investments is that being long one asset is being short another asset. If you buy equities, for example, you're implicitly betting against the USD (eg, your capital is better in a risk-on asset that should outperform, rather than parking it in bonds). Also, if an asset has a narrow band it trades in, you can technically crank up the leverage to get more exposure to it. Of course, this can work against you if you get it wrong
@NoNonsenseForex8 сағат бұрын
Yeah I absolutely do not recommend that last part.

@@NoNonsenseForex You scale your exposure on how volatile the asset is. You just check your risk and don't go crazy

I mean, yeah, we are in a cutting cycle, but... rates aren't exactly coming down. I'm not saying you're not right. You probably are. But i think we need more than just central banks "lowering rates" to make a true bull market. We need the fed to signal they will start buying bonds again. In my very uneducated opinion.

Why SCHO instead of USFR, SGOV? Expense ratio? Keeping things Schwab themed? Just curious because moves are even less there due to the lower duration. Great stuff as always!

Just the theme., I wasn't trying to optimize there. SGOV probably a better option for most. USFR I'm not familiar with.

Agree with lots of your points and also setting up energy as a part of my long term investments. I think oil will go down this year as well, but that may be a buying opportunity. The climate change narrative was a temporary cap to what will soon rip higher. We need oil and that’s not going to change anytime soon. Coal is also high on my list as well. Side note: funny that you said “Japanese aren’t usually boneheads”. Just a friendly poke at you: your western bias is showing. In Asia, they have done a lot of dumb things (just as China has done some smart things and dumb things). They’re not as smart as the western media wants you to believe.

VP, while I don't yet know if the CC is better than my current system, it is currently equal so far. I plan on trying with one single line. First with the red then only the blue, maybe no difference but I gotta' try. So far, if someone is seeking an additional indicator, give the CC a serious look.
