HANNAH, I won't try to sound like a guru but what I think is... For AUDUSD, you should have made the entry at the first or second test of that inefficiency, with SL below the lowest swing low(invalidation point). For confluence, we also see that price made a zig-zag correction at both the first and second test. Also, they probably occurred at deep fib levels(more than 50%) which is good for R/R. And we definitely got bullish breakouts afterwards. Just sharing my view. Love your content. Regards.

Like your video! What do you think about these: 1. FX Liquidity does not matter whether it is from closing a long or short position, it can be taken by MM/banker/any trader to open as a long or short position. Is this statement true or false? 2. Because FX is a zero sum game, if the liquidity is worth USD$10.01m it cannot be taken one cent more or less it must be digested exactly with the same amount by the MM/banker/any trader. Is this statement true or false?

Here is the summary. Buy low and sell high.. Difference is they dont care if it takes 5 minutes or 5 years. Smart money buys low, retail eventually pumps it up, smart money sells and causes a small price drop, market consolidates, dumb money exits and tanks market, smart money buys the dip. Rinse and repeat.
@geezerofwallstreet56583 жыл бұрын
I will tell you one main reason why you lost AUD/USD trade it’s because you took a currency that was still Dovish in policy (AUD) against a currency that was having tapering discussions ( USD) It’s all fundamental reason. Also to add the risk appetite is not high for cyclical currencies like AUD currently because of the Delta Variant and most economies going back into lockdown especially Australia.China is also putting some provinces in lockdown as well (I mention China because China growth and Aussie growth is correlated). So the USD is semi strong because it’s playing it’s safe haven role plus tapering talks.

Hi What do that orange candles mean?
@sunnymahe3 жыл бұрын
what do you mean by "imbalance"? is it covered in detail in any of your video
@avono53303 жыл бұрын
essentially where you look at consecutive candles (3 candles) in a sequence you should see that the wicks and or body touch (balanced price) an imbalance is where there is a significant space between consecutive candles as a result of heavy buying or selling, in hannas case there was heavy buying which caused the imbalance or, essentially disparity in the market where buyers meet sellers and sellers meet buyers. The genral school of thought is that these imbalances have to be filled before a move continues (This is reative to the timeframe used, a weekly imbalance will take more time to fill than an hourly), imbalances a sign of smart money enterting the market as retail can not create imbalances, so can be used as a confluence when looking for entries, in hannas case, a confluence for the buy. A continued disparity of an assets value relative to supply and demand would disrupt the market as a whole hence why imbalances are filled, this isnt the case for all markets but for fx the theory makes sense
@Worick_3 жыл бұрын
It’s covered by ICT, the actual person who coined these concepts

Hey Hannah!! What did u mean by inefficiency and imbalance (impulse move?) in the market at 4:59 and why was that the indication for you to enter the long? I've been inspired by you to give FTMO a try, however I'm not sure how different or hard the transition is into FX from stock trading (have a few years experience in swing trading stocks) or if I should wait for my next university break to learn fundamental FX-specific before diving into FX markets with FTMO :/ do u have any thoughts?
@XoDestinyy3 жыл бұрын
Inefficiency basically means an area where prices need to come down and mitigate. The inefficiency from this example was the imbalance. Imbalances are areas where buyers/sellers aren’t given a fair opportunity in the market. These areas will basically cause a gap in between two winks. Sorry if you’re confused, I’m not the best explainer😂.
