If someone has no capital then the alternative is to go the prop firm way. If you know how to trade but have no money its a great way to work with a respectably big account even half a million or a million large

$1000 is challenging. I'd say $2000 is doable if you are an experienced trader with high win rate and good risk management. It'll take quite some time and patience. The best bet is trading the small caps. Not options. Not futures. Not indices.

Starting with $15,000 it’s possible to create a small trading portfolio using micro futures and maintaining an acceptable risk for each operation. It certainly could be a start.
