Never heard of gravy using coffee. I love when you said pretty biscuits lol! I had watched one of your other videos and liked how you just took some of the dough and made it into a biscuit, which is how I'm going to try them next time. I know homemade biscuits are so much better than the canned ones from the store. Right now my kitchen is a mess. I did 3 rounds of plum jelly today and what a mess it was, but so rewarding after. I made tomato juice and canned it the other day. I still have more coleslaw to make and can and also some tomato sauce. Truly these things are blessings from God.

My great Grandmother taught me how to make Coffee Gravy same as your Redeye Gravy, I stop making it when my girls were little as it was just them and myself and the girls wouldn't touch it, I think had I called it Redeye Gravy vs Coffee Gray they may have? Lol! But I'm with Andy on the Molasses and Country Ham I too could live on it, unfortunately I'm not able to grow my own and do all that it requires anymore, but I sure like watching the two of you. In Missouri and not just Missouri there is white country sausage gravy that is nice and thick and goes with food for breakfast, lunch and supper. It is made with milk not coffee, most people I know don't drink coffee or can't stand the smell or taste of it, it smells like battery acid.

Someone who grows up in their Mama's and Grandma's Kitchen, come to cook by experience and heavy on their instinct, even when they do not even realize it. My dear friend in her late 60's now, makes the best Biscuits I personally have ever tasted, and never measures anything that goes into her biscuit bowl. Experience and instinct. Recipes and, different methods never even come into it.
