Had an old apple farmer tell us he used baby powder on the lower limbs of his trees to help with deer. Said it dries their mouth out. A few years ago we started using it and it took care of all the deer and rabbits eating our garden plants. Any time we find any eaten areas we but it on plant’s and we are good, plus it’s cheap.

Good points made. If more of us grew our food, many environmental problems would be solved. You two are an inspiration. You don't just talk the talk, you walk the walk.

You are spot on 100% government/FDA-big corporations/big pharmaceutical all scratching each others back-making us sick and them rich! I’ve been on the same path! Eliminating soy and seed oils! It’s impossible to avoid in preprepared foods-packaged and restaurant ! Every now & then life makes me lazy and I’ll cave and get take out-it makes me so mad every time cause it cost too much -it’s so gross and I feel awful from eating it!

Your Dad has a nice bailer and tractor and he knows what he is doing. Not his first time running a bailer. Them nice thick windrows make it much easier. You got a lot more than I thought when you started cutting it. It will fool you. You said there was a lot on the ground.

Soak your cucumbers in cold water for several hours after picking. It pulls moisture back in and gives really crispy pickles. It also keeps the slicers from getting that rubbery feel! Love your videos!

I bought a brown Swiss cow and she had a large utter, she had a calf and i bought a calf from a dairy and also put calf on her and doubled my calf crop. I only had to help the second calf nurse on the cow 2 days before the mother excepted the new calf. You might try it.Double your money!

I know y'all are busy and have a lot to do. But I really think you should consider this suggestion. From personal experience, I believe an above ground irrigation system is better than a drip system or an in ground system. You can design it any way you like. I have found that the magic number is 8 ft above the ground. The nozzle should be pointed toward the ground. I use an adjustable nozzle to control the width of the spray. I also create watering zones with PVC ball valves. Personally I like to irrigate at night. The system imitates a gentle rain. Not only does the ground get a good soaking but the above ground greenery gets a good bath. Keeps the plants clean and has a tendency to wash off parasitic bugs. Just a thought.
