I'm so depressed. I was in Oistins 3 weeks ago on my honeymoon and we ate 5 times at surfers cafe, breakfast once and dinner 4 times. Blackened grouper and marlin with plantain and fried potatoes. Awesome.

Seeing the Atlantic Ocean from that view was just breathtaking......And the main breakfast in almost all Carrbbean ialands ...the one and only bake/saltfish...and of course coconut water a must have esp on hot days. Good morning David: Beautiful Barbados. Finally. I love this. Almost everywhere you go in the Caribbean/West Indies, you will find similar foods. We have in Trinidad the salted cod fish accra, buljol, corned beef (I was not aware that Bajans ate corned beef as well, learned something new), corned beef stir fried with cabbage, onions, green peppers, celery; delicious. I love your hosts: very friendly. Love the way the guy cut open the coconut: it's easier to cut where the stem is because it's softer and less to cut. First time seeing it cut that way. I wondered why he threw it away afterwards but I know now that it really didn't have any flesh. The Atlantic ocean never looked so beautiful and to be so close you could literally reach out and touch it. David, it was very emotional to see where Rihanna grew up and to also see the way they honor her. Soccer jersey suits you well. Love the color. So I am looking forward to this series. Since you are in the Caribbean now, you are going to have a blast. People of the Caribbean/West Indies are the BEST. Enjoy. Blessings for a safe stay wherever you go.🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦

South coast is so pretty Love the ocean. Breakfast time cant go wrong with Mimosas and Coffee I love all that's on the plate Yum Would love some of that . Oh and don't forget the Hot sauce with all that.. A must! Coco nut fresh right off the street cant beat that freshness. ort so a everyday breakfast for the regular bajan is biscuits and sardine/tuna/cornbeef/ eggs/hotdogs hear and some tea! I love how they served the tea in the old granny tin cups though 😊. Also the "bajan bakes" which are flat and gummy opposed to round and fluffy are (old time bajan muffins) We reserved a full buffet breakfast for when we feeling fancy or its somebody's birthday. plate over brimming too! 😅 🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧 thank you for coming to our little island. 🙂

Hi David. My parents and I really enjoy all of your vlogs. Especially when you went to Guyana as my parents are from Guyana. I'm from Barbados yaaaaa lol. Good morning Ingrid: did you see the similarities between Trini and Bajan foods? Corned beef, buljol, plantain, accra. I cook corned beef the same way or make it like a stir fry with veggies.
