Traditional Beach Ceremony and wedding reception at InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa

Sheldon and Vivian chose the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa to celebrate their wedding according to the Polynesian tradition with their loved ones.
The future bride and groom get ready in the privacy of their villa before meeting each other at the place of the ceremony where the guests are seated. On the beach, they are welcomed by the priest, dancers and musicians. The priest unites the couple using Auti leaves and blesses them with sea water. The bride and groom then exchange flower necklaces and crowns as they exhange their vows and are wrapped in the traditional Tifaifai as a symbol of their union. The ceremony ends with a Tahitian dance show.
At nightfall, the bride and groom and their guests meet on Le Corail restaurant's terrace for the cocktail and continue the evening with a delicious dinner served inside our gourmet restaurant, specially decorated for the occasion.

Sheldon et Vivian ont choisi l’InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa pour célébrer leur mariage selon la tradition polynésienne en présence de leurs proches.
Les futurs mariés se préparent dans l’intimité de leur villa avant de se retrouver sur le lieu de la cérémonie où sont installés les invités. Sur la plage, ils sont accueillis par le prêtre, les danseurs et les musiciens. Le prêtre procède ensuite à leur union à l'aide d'une feuille sacrée de Auti et les bénit avec de l’eau de mer. Les mariés échangent couronnes et colliers de fleurs en prononçant leurs vœux puis sont enveloppés du traditionnel Tifaifai symbolant leur union. La cérémonie se termine par un spectacle de danse tahitienne donné en leur honneur.
À la tombée de la nuit, les mariés et leurs invités se retrouvent sur la terrasse du restaurant Le Corail pour le cocktail et poursuivent la soirée avec un délicieux dîner servi à l'intérieur de notre restaurant gourmet, spécialement décoré pour l’occasion.
