This is without question the best value for money food proposition in Belfast, and possibly the whole of Northern Ireland/the North of Ireland/the 6 counties (take your pick, I don't care- - we're all humans, let's be nice to each other). The chap who owns and runs the stall is a complete gent - always unfailingly friendly. He also just happens to make the biggest (be warned, they are properly HUGE) and best loaded bap/soda (my favourite) and potato farls I have ever eaten - and I'm a 56 year old Belfast native (living in Scotland, for my sins), so I've eaten a lot of Ulster fries (frys?). His concession always has the longest queues waiting for food, but he has his process down to a fine art and cooks and serves customers very efficiently. I try to go every time I'm back home , and when anyone here tells me they are taking a short break to Belfast, I always recommend that they take a trip to St George's Market specifically to eat his food - I'll hopefully see you in the middle of next month, sir. If god actually existed, I'd say you were doing his work, but instead I'll just say 'thank you', on behalf of humanity - you make life that little bit better.
