This takes a bit more time, but is worth it. I listen to music, a podcast or a Classic movie while finishing off the binding this way. I do enjoy sewing something on my sophisticated Bernina sewing machine and then putting in the final stitches with a needle and thread. The combination of the two brings the past where it all started into my modern quilt.
