Thank you for this. Occasionally i see the twine strand going around 2 strands - some must be doubled up for some reason. I love the pattern and texture of the three-strand twining. Quiet was just fine.

I think she ordered the wooden hat form from a guy in Juneau. (it was many, many years ago.)

@@CDLuminous She used solid (laminated) wood forms, turned on a lathe
