We make Resurrection Rolls! You roll a marshmallow in butter and then cinnamon sugar. You place it in the center of a crescent roll dough triangle (bought or made). Carefully wrap the marshmallow in the dough and pinch ends together. After baking 10-15’ in a 400 degree F oven, let cool. They are served at supper. When opened, the marshmallow has melted away leaving “an empty tomb”!

Hey Jane, I'm a long time fan of your channel, and as usual this was an enjoyable video! Just thought I better point out that you said teaspoons for the spice in the recipe when you made it and written in the description box. Unfortunately the written one at the end of the video says TABLESPOONS. That amount of spice just might make it a little too spicy, LOL!

My husband has always made a carrot cake bunny cake. It's simply two rounds of carrot cake, separate not stacked. One is left whole and from the other two ears and a bow tie are cut. The pueces are pushed together and frosted with a cream cheese frosting. Using colored icings, he decorates the Easter Bunny, giving him huge buck teeth (that's a guy for you). It's my favorite Easter treat. I am going to make your cookies for my sister, Jane. She's not been well for quite some time and I have been taking care of her. I am sure your biscuits will make her happy. 😊

Those Easter Biscuits look delicious. For Easter or all year long, I got into the habit of making vegan quick bread because it's a lot like cake and also, for example with Orange Quick Bread, you don't need any eggs or fresh fruit. You just use vegetable oil instead of egg and orange juice instead of an orange. This way, I don't have to buy a carton of eggs and then wonder what I'm going to do with the rest of the eggs when I'm finished baking. Orange juice keeps for quite a while in the fridge, too. Vegan Quick Bread is an easy, economical dessert. 🙂

Hi Jane, those cookies look amazing, I do love a crunchy biscuit. I have tried making hot cross buns in the past at Easter. Also, a delicious rice pudding that is served cold, it is mixed with fruit cocktail and whipped cream, delish. A trick I learned for parchment paper on a cooking channel I watch. You roll it up into a ball and that tames it down to fit in your pan without rolling up. Cheers

What is the difference between biscuits and cookies in the UK? Biscuits and cookies are two very different foods in the US.
@FrugalQueeninFrance
@FrugalQueeninFrance 2 ай бұрын
What you call a biscuit, we call a scone and what you call a cookie, is slightly different from a biscuit. A biscuit is hard and crunchy, a cookie is soft , perhaps with a crisp crust but soft inside. Bi-cuit from the French is to cook twice so biscuits can go soft and you can cook them again to harden them.

Hello Jane & Mike: My name is Toni (last name not needed). I watch your videos every chance I get and I really enjoy them. I do follow a budget, but it's not really traditional. I get income 2x a month, 2nd half is larger amount and I do catch up with what I don't get on the first of the month. However, I do watch my spending. I do eat at home a lot, but I do treat myself to take out food 1x a week only. I'm very lucky that my house is paid off and I just make sure the residential taxes are paid at the beginning of the year (based upon the previous years taxes, there will always be an adjustment at the end of the year when the county sends out notices for taxes) But getting back to budgeting, I watch very carefully how I spend my money, and if there is anything leftover, I add it to my savings, credit union account or additional pmt for car loan. I hate to have any kind of debt hanging over my head, and I am working very hard to get the car loan paid off ASAP. This will avoid extra finance charges, excess interest, ,etc. And a sense of accomplishment. My last car I had, I had it paid off 9 months ahead of time. Just wanted to let you know, I really enjoy your videos immensely. Keep up the great work!
