Food is THE REASON To visit France. I’m Welsh and I love FRANCE ! It’s the best food in the world. The Boulangerie for Croissants, Pain au chocolate, baguettes and desserts. Plenty of cheese, meat - red meat such as beef and lamb is always red/rare in the middle, it’s just the right way to eat it. The salads are properly seasoned, well made and the tomatoes taste of tomato ! I love crepes and galettes (savoury pancakes) and the crème brûlée is always excellent. I buy the tins of duck confit to bring home - it’s absolutely amazing. I miss France when I’m not there, it’s where I’ve holidayed since I was born….
