Hi David, greetings from Orlando. :) Where are you planning to go next? BTW, I came across your channel yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos. (till 3am!! LOL) Excellent content, considering there is so much diversity and so much to see and experience in India. Since you had mentioned in one of your videos, that part of your family was Jewish, I was wondering if you may be able to sample some traditional Jewish food in India. Apart from the big cities of Mumbai, Kolkata and Kochi, there are some Jewish folks in the North East as well, (like in the Churachandpur district in Manipur). I am assuming that at some point you will get to sample some Parsi (Persian influence), Goan (Portuguese/Latin influence), Pondicherry (French and Vietnamese influence), Kerela/Mappila (Arab influence) food as well, to mention only a few. :) Did anyone correct/mention to you that mutton in India is supposed to be goat and not a full grown sheep? Enjoy your stay/the food in India and thank you for sharing your experiences. :)

I hope, David, you have by now learnt a lesson or two from your trip to northeast India. First, it's important to do some thorough research prior to visiting foreign lands. And if you are short on research, then at least you have to ensure that you have a good local guide. Your Meghalaya series is interesting and authentic because you had a knowledgeable local guide. Your trip to Guwahati / Assam was a disaster because you selected as your guide someone who had no clue as to local traditions, culture, history and particularly food.
