Scripture: Mark 12:28-44
Last week, we explored God’s vision for the church. It is to make known the Glory of God. This week, we begin to focus our attention on how to do that. According to Jesus, we glorify God when we love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength-that is, with our all.
In Mark 12:28-44, Jesus teaches us that the greatest commandment is to love God fully and completely. And He directs us as to how that is expressed in daily life. Love for God emerges as loyalty to God’s Son, Jesus. God sees love toward Him not in fake displays of religious devotion but rather in genuine, sacrificial living-that is, with our all.
