Made this sweet little nautical inspired porthole window last week 💙 It's going to be fitted in my clients hallway 😍. What's not to love about mini windows?!

Hi Jan I love how you have all your lead already formed for your pieces...do you always do that ,or is it for video sake? If not, it sure would be wonderful seeing how you prepare the lead shaping for the initial leading. Did that make any sense? As usual, your window, craftsmanship and video are spot on😊

I cut it as I build the window so if the window is made of all the same sizes lengths once I've cut one I use it as a template to cut all the other ones 🤜💥🤛

This one's really nice! Is the middle piece not significantly thicker than the rest of the design? And if so, how do you deal with that?

It's only half a millimetre thicker than the rest of the glass so still lots of space to play with 🤗

Thanks for watching, I use a homemade mix but it's very similar to the standard recipes you can find with a Google search for 'leaded light cement mix' 🤜💥🤛

I'm sorry, I don't know the exact making time, I'm always working on 3 or 4 projects at a time and there are lots of different stages to each job

Lovely! One question tho, when you score textured bumpy glass, do you score it flat side up? I saw someone score it on the rough side and i would think thatd be hard to do!

Sometimes if its not too bumpy you can have sucess but it's always easier scoring the smooth 🤜💥🤛
