When it comes to chain restaurant ramen, Bankara beats Ichiran by quite a margin. For me at least. Everyone talk about Ichiran because of it's privacy setting but before Tiktok started covering this chain, they never get that much business compared to other chains that the locals like more.

Recommend walking through the cemetery in Koyasan. The first half is uphill and brutal on a warm day but it feels like something out of a Ghibli movie. Although I freaked out a little when we came across some wasps that were chonky boyz
