07:45 that is one of weirdest Japan things to the detriment of their well being, human eyes should never be heated, people of the internet whatever you do keep your eyes cool... not many people realizes this but human eyes are actually extensions of brain it is the only parts your brain is open to the outside world and one thing about brain; it does not like to be hot, long story short do not use heater on your eyes, it can handle cold, but heat is very dangerous

Married to a Norwegian. My reaction was same: “So interesting…” without quite committing to whether I liked it. So different than anything else I had, it took a while to wrap my head (tongue?) around it, but is one of my absolute favs now.

That's quite a luxurious convenience store meal! Usually, we spend about $3 for breakfast, $4 for lunch, and $6 for dinner.

We were just there (Dec 1-14) Did the Golden route (Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka) and spent 2 great weeks. We enjoyed the food, the culture, vibes even the crowded public transportation. If the cake freezes well, slice into 12, freeze then enjoy one slice every month.
I enjoyed your German podcast. “Ich liebe deutsches Brot!” “Ich liebe Glühwein!”

The thing most western condos lack are those interior patios with sun light... These Japanese interior skylight patios turns small humble place into super cozy. It shouldn't be restricted to rich mansion.

Japa-ghettie 1. Only put in hot water for 3 min. 2. Dump out the hot water, leave a spoon of water. 3. Mix the powder and eat it.

6:12 The Gengar! So cute! 💜 Gengar is one of my favourite Pokemon since I first saw it in the 1997 anime. 😆 I would defiantly need to purchase both the Pikachu and Snorlax plates, (if I ever had the chance to do so) as they are both very cute.

Thank you so much for the insights. I just reacted to your video as a German hehe (I hope that's alright). You said something about being German yourself? Did you grew up here, bilingual? You don't have any accent. I was so surprised when you said that! Absolutely stunning :D

Osaka probably has the wisest mayor/governor! They are totally doing what Shibuya in Tokyo is banning/avoiding! Osaka is the place to be for foreign Festivities like Halloween or Christmas, Osaka likes to PARTY! Support Osaka!
