definitelly the case for self publishing. I wrote and piblished my book through a hybrid publisher, with crowdfunding (it was within a Writing program), I translated first draft with deepl and edited 7 times I tried to get a publisher for the translation who offered me to shell out 3500€ and buy 300 copies. I decided to hire a copyeditor, a formatter, bought the isbn number, and published it myself for 350. I haven’t sold many copies and I think the publisher would not have helped at all.
