Lovely, I think I'm getting a better iconographic understanding of Chakrasamvara, Hevajra, and Guhyasamaja, their similarities and symbolic meanings, albeit probably not perfectly, but the intention is there - thanks Jeff; these are nice short illuminations.

In the Refuge Field (Tree) section, the HAR website also shows Qing emperors where usually Vajradhara sits. Could you please comment on the historical transfer of thangkas in mainland China after the Yuan Dynasty?

Andrew Bacrau The Qianlong Emperor (18th century) was a great sponsor of Tibetan style Buddhism. As an emanation of Manjushri he fancied himself a suitable subject for Refuge Field paintings.

I have a thangka painting of Chakrasamvara with Vajravarahi. He has two black faces and two very dark green, almost black additional faces. Vajravarahi is also extremely dark maroon colored which I have not seen anywhere else. Did the painter get it wrong or is this just a rare version? Thank you for any feedback you might have. 🙏

Did this man actually talk about the purpose of this? Too much focus on minutiae, not enough on substance

It's an art channel. It's talks about the art. The hidden teachings should, according to Vajrayana, not b discussed openly anyway.
