OK, lovely sound. Sends shivers down my spine. Now, all we have to do is to evolve the third arm actually required to play the bloody pipes properly... And yes, I tortured my family for several years trying to learn how to play them...

I first heard this piece at Trad on the Prom in Galway. I cannot explain the gut reaction I have everytime I hear it. We have since used this piece in two of my daughters's weddings. One daughter walked down the isle to Magh Seola, the other as her first dance.

Sweet Mother of Pearl ! Ger - that is one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever heard on the Uillean pipes, and you, Sir, are a true maestro - stunningly good playing. The folks who were there to see you play are lucky indeed. The Irish heritage in me was extremely moved by both the music and the artist. Cheers from Canada🇨🇦🇮🇪

Next to Caoineadh Cu Chulainn composed by Bill Whelan for the Riverdance soundtrack this is my favorite pipe air. The Sun the Stream of Enya's first album played beautiful by the legendary Liam O''F'ynn and Davy Spillane's ( the original Riverdance piper ) Midnight Walker are quite stunning as well. Then there's the myriads of traditional airs. I love An Feochan, and Buaile Mhaodhog particularity. I've been playing the whistle, low whistles and Irish flute for years and should just buy a practice set. I play the Bulgarian pipes or Gaida so it might be a not as hard jump as starting from scratch.
