is it me, or is their fib tool backwards compared to most platforms? Also, how do you get time+sales on tradovate (not jigsaw. Just regualr T+S window like you have on the right of screen at 6:50 )? I can't seem to find it
@adrian33734 жыл бұрын
Yes it is, and the RSI gives way too many OB and OS signals compared to other Futures platforms. I do like the platform but some things don't seem right

This is perfect. Looks very simple. I tried to go on trade station and it just doesn't seem user friendly and got confused from a newcomer perspective, but very easy with tradovate demo.

Is the data free? Usually you pay for a data feed/monthly fee through CQG or something, but I don't see it mentioned on their site?
@cbro7774 жыл бұрын
No. If you want live data it's $3.00 to $12:00 a month.

Is there safeguard against negative balance?
@bullishbearstrading3 жыл бұрын
yes - the broker will kill the trade if you drop below a basic margin limit (I think it is 50.00$ (?). I'd recommend checking their website to get an exact value.

Can I ask how long is the paper trading avaliable for and at what cost? Can anyone use the paper trading feature or only certain membership deals?
@vero09922 жыл бұрын
From what I remember paper trading is free for 14 days. After that you have to fund an account and pay for data, OR pay...$23 bucks a month for a sim account? I believe paper trading is available free with all funded accounts.

The fees Tastyworks charges for trading Micro Minis are ok compared to other mainstream brokers, but compared to Tradovate it’s more than double. One contract trade with Tasty is currently $1.37 ($2.74 RT) versus Tradovate is $.56 ($1.12 RT). Tastyworks was built more for Options trading and offers great benefits when trading Options. However, when trading Futures or day trading stocks, there are other easier and less expensive brokers.
