This is about the tenth time I’ve watched your reaction & just haven’t commented but I finally just had to bc it is one of my favorite reactions & I feel the same way EVERY-TIME I hear Dimash! I’m obsessed, I try to get everyone to listen him & since I first heard him sing SOS I have listened to practically no one else except for Chenyu Hua! I would love for the two of them to collaborate, that would be something to hear! I wish he would tour the US & come to Atlanta or Birmingham bc I’m from Alabama/Georgia line & it’s on my bucket list to see him live! I’m hoping after he stars on this new show in the US called “ The worlds Greatest” which airs on CBS February 3rd right after the Super Bowl 🏟 goes off that he will get the recognition he deserves here! I can recall hearing him sing it for the first time. I kept thinking I know this song and it came back to me. It is a song I forgot about and to be fair I was a child when I heard it once. Now I listen to it more often so as not to forget this beautiful song. 1999 was when I heard if not early 2000's.

TraENT -- I'd say that he's like our lifetime's Mozart or Beethoven. I know the analogy is a bit wonky but, like them, Dimash is a virtuoso. He was born for it. His vocal cords are longer than any other person's that we know of since vocal cord length determines your max range capability. He's been training since he was 5. He composes his own music. (Unforgettable Day, with his highest note, is one of his compositions) He plays several instruments. He's fluent in 2 languages and is working toward fluency in 2-3 others (including English). He's sung in 13 languages. He can sing higher than the highest note on the piano! He's an Ambassador and a Junior Ambassador in Kazakhstan. He strives for perfection like any other virtuoso. I think the very best thing about him, though, is his incredible moral compass, honor and integrity. I'm so proud to be his fan. =)

He has developed his voice to just PAST 6 octaves, from just below 6 octaves. Have you watched Ogni Prieta? He trained for 6 weeks to prepare for it. lt was written for Dimash to sing in honor of the 23rd anniversary of Kazakhstan's freedom from Russia. It is absolutely magnificent. If you haven't watched it, I look forward to your reaction to it. His lower register, in preparing for it, developed more of a solid foundation, and in this performance goes the full range from below to above.

Yes, he is a musical genius! And he’s only 23. I concur. There are many artists who can sing but not like Dimash. He’s at a different level. Adagio is my favorite performance. Great reaction - to a great performance. This song was originally done by Lara Fabian - she actually congratulated him on his performance!! Dimash says he needs to know the meaning behind all the words he siings - so he can portray the correct emotions - it is very important to him. Looking forward to more. Next ep7 is Daididau - it is a traditional Kazakh folk song, he and the musicians behind him are all dressed in traditional Kazakh costumes, and Dimash plays the Dombra - a traditional Kazakh instrument - - can't wait for you to hear it!! It was important to Dimash to introduce the Kazakh music and culture to the world.
