This is not Dimash's mistake. And this is not a disrespect for the competition. This is a mistake of the organizers who made adults, formed performers compete with children. And it really is in our culture. Victory, of course, desirable. But to win, defeating a child?! .. I understand Dimash: it's just below his dignity. Согласна, что китайский конкурс настоящий песенный, а не просто шоу ради шоу и рекламы. Все песни порезали так, как хотелось организаторам. Если надо было выдать в эфир всего несколько минут, то могли сказать об этом исполнителям. Тогда сами конкурсанты подобрали бы короткое выступление, а не организаторы портили бы целостность композиции так, как им хочется. Что могут понять зрители по тем огрызкам целого.

I feel Dimash did what is in his heart. I think Dimash saw how upset the TNT boys were when they were taken off. I don’t feel he wanted to do that to other kids. He has a charity or foundation or such that supports young artists. All the proceeds from his London show he gave to young artists. I feel as his nature is and his beliefs he just couldn’t take away from them. Honestly I can only support his decision.

@Ma Rich No, I don’t believe that he was close to both of them. The pianist. I know his name is not as simple as Linden. Put a photo of them together. They were not allowed to discuss with anyone what they were doing. He didn’t know I feel they were competing with Adults originally I am betting. Probably because of not only his thoughts but his cultures. I am guessing he thought originally they might be voted on separately. I am sure it was not spelled out. 😊

You got it absolutely right. Money and fame is nothing to him. Dimash is from a family and the society with traditional values and one of them is fare competition, respect to the elder and love to the younger. This is really tough to understand in those societies where fame, money, winning a competition, super-confidence, individualism, and ambitions are promoted as the greatest values. I am with you!

I wasn't rooting for Dimash, but he earned my respect on what he did. This show doesn't deserve talents like Dimash and The TNT boys. Strange strange format, judges are enormously biased, criteria for judging wasn't shown. It's like a freak show to be honest. In my opinion, The Singer 2017 in China has a better format than this even if Dimash didn't win that show, at least there, he competed with singers that have legit credentials. Judges were audiences, who were into music. What is this show even about?! To rig bucks? That's how it looked like to me.Even the title "The World's Best" is very very misleading.

Да, Димаш такой! И это не показное , а искреннее желание пожертвовать реальной победой в пользу молодых конкурсантов. Димаш ломает американские стандарты. Не все решают деньги и сиеминутная слава. А гнев жюри могу понять, рейтинг просмотра без Димаша упадет в разы. И вам ,TreENT, СПАСИБО за понимание и поддержку нашего мальчика. I have seen other videos of Dimash with his family, his little sister and other children and he is very loving and protective. He is a very humble young man and his heart is sincere. His career is going strong and with this exposure to the American audiences, he will go further still, and I can't wait.
