Yes. Even 3 meters matter. I put mine in a plug 3 meters further away from the router using a 5m LAN cable instead of 2m, and I instantly got 10 Mbit/s more! The key is to make the powerline circuit as short as possible!

Hi, congrats on the review, but i am seeing they are provided that cat5 fast ethernet network cables and not gigabit (cat5e or up). Have you tried cat.5e cables? The loss with your connection is indeed minimal but for 1gbps connections it would definitely be a problem. Hello and sorry for my bad english

You are right.. he shuld be using cat-6 cables. But, seems he also has 100mbps internet so not really able to test the 600mbps rated adapter either way. I always what prompts people who are so clueless to litter youtube with these reviews that are moot because of lack of knowledge.

Cat5 = Cat5e. Same. Standardized since more than 20 years now. So definitely Gigabit capable, even if it says "Cat5" without e

I think you need to synchronize your cables, click on the button below to connect the two. Afterwards, power lines don't really like being on power strips 😁
