Yeah, to many people here in South Florida, taking the bus is considered "taboo" and "foreign." Glad I take the bus to work at least once a week and two-way trip on quick errands. Saves me a lot on gas and headaches.

@@BreadFred3 That's because the bus system in South Florida is putrid. Not too many people want to stand for 45 minutes - 2 hours in the blazing hot sun or the monsoon downpour of rainy season and that's not even factoring that both Miami-Dade/Broward county transit do not have bus shelters. Taking the bus is cheap and effective if it would just work properly. Look how many people take Metrorail daily now. I know so many people in deep South Miami-Dade county who would love to have Metrorail expanding along the Busway if the county would just get their asses in gear and build it.
