Great job to LRPD working with the community. It's a difficult job when you know you could tow, but you can choose to win now or later by building relationships in the community. Been there, done that. Traffic stops like this happen continuously and as long as everyone is cordial, you can apply some lenience, because you will most definitely see the same people again. Your reputation as an officer will impact future engagements.

This stop was so different than most. No screaming belligerent females. Officer Jackson is extremely patient, it has to be difficult to stand around waiting & waiting. Hoping these ladies takes his advice and they all get legal. Respect = Respect. Thanks NST.❤🇺🇸🚑☃️🎄

Years ago when I was young my license got suspended in the state I live in, my mother didn't have a car because she took public transit everywhere she went in my home town, but she would drive me to work in my Trans Am, and my buddies would laugh at me and make fun, I worked 25 miles away, one way, I told them no way iam going to make this worse, got my license back after six months, never did anything stupid again, iam a grandfather know, and hope moms looking down at me and smiles and is proud,...

Pine Sol is an overwhelming smell. It covers up a multitude of odors. It was used back in the 60’s and 70’s alot. Can’t stand the smell myself.

I think both officers were pretty cool. There was no race issue. If there were a race issue, he would’ve asked for ID from everybody in the vehicle and been more aggressive. I think the officer had compassion when she stated that she just was having bad times. I think the driver and the passengers were polite towards the law enforcement. That’s why he did everything to help them. I think this is a good example of a good traffic stop for both parties. Where the police officer was polite and compassionate. And the drivers in the passengers spoke politely to the officer, and not giving them any type of problem. I noticed the officer never asked anyone. Did they have anything in their pockets or requested a female officer to do a patdown search on anybody. Good job. I hope the occupants of the vehicle have a good Christmas and she gets everything straight.

No.. the one in the white shirt said that she received a letter from child support stating that she could get her license reinstated. Most often, if they owe back child support or not paying child support on schedule. The child support department will suspend their license until they are caught up.

The one with the braids said that she was set up by the court to have a work permit license permitting her to drive to work only. She said the court set her up on a payment plan and she pays the court 100 a month to get her license reinstated. She said her tickets were 2000.00 to pay off.
