Trafficker Gets Snitched On, Becomes Enraged

Lake City, FL [07:36 PM] 05/29/2022
An officer was sitting stationary on US 90. A Blue Ford F-150 passed him. Recognizing the vehicle from a previous stop, the officer decided to pull out and get behind the truck - to confirm that everything was valid (previously it had not been). As soon as the officer pulled out, the vehicle slowed drastically and changed lane. The vehicle then abruptly made a right turn. The officer followed and ran the tag - everything was valid so he passed the vehicle.
The officer stopped just west of Cherokee and observed the truck turn around to come back out to US 90, less than a minute since it turned down there. Upon sight of his patrol car, the vehicle then reversed back down Cherokee out of sight. Based on the behavior, he had suspicions that it may be involved in criminal activity and was possibly trying to elude him. Due to this, he decided to make a consensual encounter to ensure everything was ok and attempt to identify to occupants.
As he pulled on to Cherokee, the vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road. He parked to allow them plenty of room to exit US 90. The other female deputy pulled up at the same time. As he exited his patrol car, the driver and passenger immediately exited the truck. He immediately recognized the driver from previous encounters. The rest of the incident can be seen in the footage.

I had a Game Warden give me a chance like this officer did to this guy and I'll never forget it. I stopped drinking and had already stopped doing drugs but I stopped hanging around bad people places and things. I wish I could find that Game Warden and hug him thank him and show him how much that chance he gave me did to me and everyone else around me and I meet. I'm a positive influence now. Thanks to officers people who give people chances. Hope this guy asks God for help and really change his life.

I had a sister who is a chip of the block of this women. Hardcore meth user and totally delusion and got VERY hateful when confronted. She passed away at the age of 61 a few years back. Her body and mind was ravaged from the years of meth. At first a felt sorry for her and tries to help her. Eventually just gave up on her with no regrets for it. Like this women she was a lost cause.

I went for a run this morning and I meal prep to fight my food addiction and I allow myself a handful of beers a week. Addictions are hard but if someone never takes accountability (or in this case, behaves like an absolute scumbag) there's really only so much sympathy I can extend. Addiction doesn't absolve bad people of their shitty character and concessions aren't an alternative for demanding accountability. Saying addiction is an illness is a sweeping generalization that equates someone's awful decision making to innocents suffering. I don't normally get like this but genuinely, fuck your comparison to cancer. My mom didn't smoke the cancer she got and she sure didn't let it be an excuse for being a terrible person.

As the driver of any vehicle, you are directly responsible for anything and everything contained within, on, and even under the vehicle. The only exceptions involve cab/bus drivers who have no expectation of knowing their passenger(s) on a personal level. And even then, if an officer smells or sees it lying in plain sight, the cab driver should have been aware enough to have smelled or seen whatever the officer seen or smelled. That cab liner tells all anyone needs to know. The driver knew about, approved conveyance, and probably directly manufactured the narcotics.

By presenting the suspect with my question, she would have had to 1. confess to lying, 2. provide information that is pertinent to proof her statement, or 3. flounder and make shit up because they are career criminal.
