Very helpful video mate, got the job done, and when it's all un done a good chance to fit a 2nd 12v port to where the coat hook is. One observation, when removing the heater matrix and there are the three screws, only the middle one holds the unit into the chassis, the outer two keep the unit together, so you only need to remove the middle one to free the heater matrix. 👍

I haven't done this for quite awhile, but if memory serves... You just need to remove the 2 outer screws! One of these days if I need to work on the Trafic, I'll double check this detail. ;-) Edit: Yesterday refreshed my memory! In fact ONLY the central screw need to be removed. The outer two, serve only to hold the entire assembly together. No need to touch them just to replace bulbs! The simpler the better. ;-) Cheers

That surely don't need any "guide". It's too easy, 3 bolts, Torx, and one "catch". That's everything that hold the seat and base to the van. If you want to separate the seat from its base. It's 4 bolts! Either case always disconnect any cable plugs. Like airbag, heated seat...

Need to do this on my 2003 traffic , I've changed the two bulbs which do the radio display temp etc which is easy. I have been reticent in doing the ones you've done for the exact reasons you struggled with !! Handy to know about turning thr heater control to hot to gain access to the other bulb 💡 I have air con on my van so will probably have 3 bulbs 🙈! Was impressed how calm you were when the fuse blew & the van wouldnt start !! I'd be pulling my hair out !! I did notice your display is totally different than mine as in the odometer etc. That rear heater button actually does the heated mirrors on mine. Thanks for the heads up on the bulb type!
