Man I love putting into avoid Hwys and tolls, however it is a huge bag of suck when you end up in the middle of nowhere and you end up on miles of dirt/gravel road. Last time I was in ND and the gravel was loose, soft and deep... Slow down too much and you just sink in. Go to fast and everything was squirely..
