At this point, Jerry/Stephen Jones are not going to invest that kinda cap room on an aging and injury prone slot receiver. They can draft a youngin. For the Cowboys to have a FA splash? Go get Tee Higgins...changes their offensive unit over night and Cee Dee will love them for it!

I think we all know the Cowboys will not or at least not seriously pursue Garrett. They may float the idea for the attention but no way they will offer him anywhere near what he will end up getting. Also if you were Garrett and were leaving for a chance to actually win a SB would the Cowboys be your place of choice??? Yes star players in Dallas get tons of endorsement money but I don't think this is about money for him. Is there any real chance of the Cowboys being an actual SB contender any sooner than the Browns?? Not likely. The Cowboys have Daks contract impact on the cap to deal with plus they have to resign Parsons so even IF they find someway to sign Garrett between Dak, Lamb, Parsons, Garrett there's no way they could keep other up and coming players or get other free agents to build a competitive roster. All of that doesn't even consider the draft/player capital that the Browns would want to even consider trading Garrett.

@KutzbyKeith Great points but the Cowboys can't spend the money it would require to retain Parsons, Tank, and get Garrett, even with Parsons willingness to give a discount. The numbers don't work. They are too strapped. Cee Dee and Dak are killing them cap wise
