You missed a nice little track. At the lot where you guys took the cover photo, right at the highway turnoff. there's a dirt road that you can turn south on. This road road goes out to a locked gate that is the west end of of Nightmare Gulch. Not too far west of the gate is another road that goes north. If you follow it, it will come back to a turnout on HW 14. But if you keep going north on the dirt road, it will go though Black Rock Canyon and meet up to Trail 86B. Overall it is a short trail with one semi technical section that needs good ground clearance, but the scenery is fantastic.
