Very good Jess. Hogan mentioned this. This also is best way to stay connected, to get extension, to create more compression on irons, and power on driver, in addition to what you stated. This fixes so many issues…..

Ok, right arm problem solved. Let me ask to this, do I roll the left arm during take away? Not sure what left arm needs to do now.

As always a great video Jess! I use this right arm position, but today you taught me something more about its positioning . I thought that this upward position of the right forearm would also affect the right wrist, but I can see now that it does not. One can set the right wrist independently to the desired grip position. Your lessons have definitely helped my golf game. Thanks!!! Keep up the good work!!
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton2 жыл бұрын
Fantastic John! Yes the independent movement of the right wrist is crucial:))

Hi Jess. I had 2 operations on my right shoulder due to sports injuries. The L shape position in my right arm is prevented from range of motion. The right elbow position is a great tip👍. Is keeping that elbow agaist the ribs with left arm extention my best bet for the restriction of motion? Love Stack and Tilt!

Great video Jess! At address where would you say your lead elbow is pointing? Towards the target? Or towards your left hip?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton2 жыл бұрын
Towards the left hip

Quality video as always Jess. Good question Dean, you beat me to it! So both elbows turned inwards facing their respective hip, just like Ben Hogan states in the fundamentals, right?

I kinda forgot about this lesson from a previous lesson I had from an instructor in San Jose Ca. At set up he would stick a shaft of a iron in front of my trail arm and extend thru the back of my lead arm pointing towards target line.

Do you think the stack and tilt is good for a woman golfer? I am 5 foot 1 and have been practicing it for probably a year now and have had some success but still not consistent and hit a lot of fat shots I am small in stature and maybe this just isn’t the right swing for me any thoughts?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton2 жыл бұрын
Hi Pamela! ST is terrific for every golfer. I would have to see your swing to really understand what’s going on. I do online lessons if you want

I’m have a strong left grip, for some reason the strong right grip I get a bigger the fade/slice. But a very weak right grip I end up drawing the ball. I can never figure out why…?
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton2 жыл бұрын
They are all matchups depending on your golf swing. Shut club face players with a strong grip similar to Azinger or David Duval always played a cut.
