I will say my Polaris 850 while big, gets it done. I try not to "rocket" through those trails it really helps to avoid those unseen hits to my rims. I have a winch and a couple of extensions so, essenital to riding in this state as you can certainly atest to. Regardless of what you are riding bike or quad you get stuck with no signal, you are still walking out. Great clip I remember that ride.lol

I agree with what your saying. I have 4x4 atv's and honestly hardly ever use 4x4. I live in Michigan and it's mostly sand in the Northern part of the state where the trails are, not much mud. The weight penalty that comes with 4x4 atv's is massive to. I bought a BruteForce 300 for my kid and I actually love riding it. Tire selection and selecting the right line when riding goes a long way in getting you through spots without 4 wheel drive.

definitely! Its so much fun riding 2x4 and the smaller cc. One of them that I sold was a Honda Recon 250...i want one again ha ha. Look at the old school 2000 Kodiak 400 4x4. they are super light weight and easily pick up the rear. Issue is they dont make parts for them as much any more
