It has been almost 20 years since John built a brand new bike and even back in 2001 when he built the last one, it was stolen almost immediately...
Bummer, but after 19 years John is building a brand new S&M Black Magic frame with Hoder Bars, An OG Redneck Stem, Pitchforks, 101 Pedals, Alienation rims, and Profile Elite Hubs!

Very nice, this video reminds me of myself. I just built a new bike after 20 years. From a Standard STA to a subrosa wild child! And I bought the Hoder bars too but I cut an inch off each side! Lol👍

Going from 37 pounds to 24-25 pound bike plus the newer geometry made it so much easier to ride

Yeah so true! The geometry and the weight make it so nimble. Plus I went from a 21" top tube to a 20.5 let's just say I should have made the switch years ago

Those forks should have built in race. And It doesn't matter what tool you use, its damn near impossible to cut your bars down exactly the same length! One is always longer.. lol.
